For a journalism major and culture vulture NYU student, working at Time Out New York, the Bible of hip happenings across "the city," was a dream.

I cherished every wacky assignment I received, from surveying strangers on the Highland about their sex lives (shocking) to transcribing interviews with celebs like Mike Judge and Common (hilarious - also, I'm proud to say that I came up with that subheader) or writing articles about the hottest hair salon treatments in town (bougie).
