GPJ Experience Intelligence
In the thick of 2020 sheltering-in-place mandates, I paired up with another GPJ Strategist to begin churning out weekly internal trend reports, keeping tabs on the evolution of experiences (and marketing at large) during these "unprecedented times," as brands were so fond of calling it.
Soon after, people (strategists, creatives, account managers) saw the value of these reports as potential client conversation starters for encouraging out-of-their-comfort-zone thinking.
Eventually, these trend reports evolved into a more polished, externally-facing monthly thought leadership pieces published to the GPJ website. In keeping with the original spirit of the report, each month, two strategists pair up and investigate a total of four experiential trends.
These reports also laid the foundation for GPJ's annual trend retrospective, the "Experience Futures" report.
