IBM Security 2020 Year in Revue
To say 2020 was a difficult year for live events is an understatement.
Many of my clients, including the IBM North America Security team, struggled to attract and retain zoom-fatigued attendees.
The exciting, in-person events they were used to hosting were no longer an option: the question was, how could we create a can't - miss digital experience that IBM clients could enjoy from the safety of their own homes?
Bringing in a Grammy-Award-winning artist was just the start: I knew everything else about the event would have to live up to Leon's performance.
The answer lay in the attendee journey. Bite-sized nuggets of IBM Security content interspersed with short performances kept attention spans, and the look and feel of the event mimicked the intimacy of a small, local concert put on just for you.
Killer production value and filming on-site at a beloved Fort Worth institution sealed the deal. The event resulted in an NPS score of 78 for IBM: my happy clients said we "knocked it out of the park," and I was thrilled to see our vision come to life.
